Key Responsibilities

• Leading all activities relating to software product design and user experience, including sketching, prototyping, user journeys and mapping
• Convert designs to usable components using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Ensure we follow best practices, standards and guidelines as well as stay up to speed with browser behaviours and compatibilities
• Mentoring of junior team members and front end developers
• Working closely with our marketing team to ensure we present a cohesive brand experience across our external communications and products
• Leading and facilitating “design sprints” and other workshops as a point of expertise in the discipline to permeate across the team
• Design and maintenance of documentation around design principles, components and layouts
• Practical work in actually designing the software we bring to market
• Working as part of a dynamic international team in an agile environment

Key Skills and Expertise

• A skilled UX Designer
• Expertise working within web application product teams
• Skilled in implementing HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Strong creative eye capable of both following a trend and setting one
• Strong written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
