Solutions Support Specialist

Working for an industry leading telecoms provider, you will be supporting customers as a specialist with their PABX phone system queries and providing solutions. If you like working with customers and enjoy working in a sales environment, this role will definitely be of interest.
- Complete all pre-sales consultancies including collating evidence of equipment specification, solution advice, and phone/email support.
- Identify and qualify potential additional sources of revenue for all relevant brand products and services.
- Ensure all team members, outsourced or internal offer relevant and appropriate after sales care, e.g. account management, technical support etc.
- Ensure up to date and accurate maintenance of stock and CRM System Masterpack, including order entry pop ups, key word searches etc.
- Monitoring of back orders (SD 1’s) to ensure invoices are raised, once the direct stock shipments have been delivered.
- Liaise with relevant parties to ensure advice and guidance are offered on new products, price changes, stock levels and all information is correct.
- Maintain and liaise with purchasing regarding price list changes for all dealers and dealer sales and make sure this is properly communicated via the elected channels.
- Participate and attend Dealer days and/or Road shows when required and help promote phone system brands.
- Provide internal and external presentations/demonstrations, training and material to relevant parties to raise the awareness and technical ability for the products.
- Liaise with Channel contacts regarding discounts and campaigns applicable to orders and to resolve any issues arising from discrepancies in configurations.
- Identify potential competitive threats and take timely and effective action to minimise them.
- Develop and maintain good, effective working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
- Fully understand and adhere to all relevant processes.
- Maintain full, accurate, honest and timely records.
- Respond to management requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare and deliver all relevant reports as defined by your manager.
- Undertake all training required to develop the role as required.
- Be willing to undertake any relevant supplier accreditation certifications.
- Any other duties as necessary for the role.
Qualifications / Relevant Experience:
Essential
- Previous experience of working with voice and data communication / IP Telephony.
- Ability to demonstrate Panasonic solution.
- Technology based background, including network solutions.
- Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003 and XP and LANs.
- Previous experience of presenting to customers of all levels.
- Experience of designing solutions and putting together quotations.
- Experience of working with channels and understanding the ‘sales cycle’.
- Must hold valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points.
Desirable
- Previous technical sales support experience.
- Microsoft Management Console (MMC) certified.
