Sales Executive - B2B Comms services, £24k basic, + Excellent bonus

Our client, a leading IT and Telecoms services provider based near Manchester, currently requires a highly organised, proactive and self-managed Telesales Executive to join their established expanding business in a busy and autonomous role. Suitable candidates will need to be enthusiastic and driven, confident in handling objections, appointment setting and client liaison over the phone, with credible B2B outbound sales exposure.

Job Description

Joining a small team your time will be focused on a mix of New Business, Account Management and sales support. Your main duties will therefore include:

  • Making outbound B2B calls to promote the company’s services
  • Upselling and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Regenerating business with lapsed clients
  • Identifying, researching and making introductions to new prospects
  • Generating leads, booking appointments and closing sales directly where appropriate
  • Building strong relationships based on providing first class service levels
  • Providing accurate advice and up-to-date pricing quotations
  • Negotiating prices, handling objections and scheduling call backs
  • Managing the CRM database and maintaining KPI activity records
  • Undertaking ad hoc account management duties to support the field sales team

Person Specification

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades C or above including Maths and English
  • Ideally 12 months+ experience in a similar outbound telesales role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage own time effectively
  • Target-driven, consistent performer
  • Objection handling and persuasion
  • Intermediate IT skills
  • Confident team player

In return the company is offering a starting salary of £24,000 plus a competitive benefits package and a first year OTE of £35K (uncapped). The hours of work are Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch. Full training is provided and there are excellent career prospects as this is an important time in their strategic growth plan.
