Project Manager/PMO Manager – Service Delivery/PMO – remote working

Our client based in Northampton and servicing customers throughout the UK, EMEA and further afield is seeking a Project Manager with a background in either Managed Service implementation or Project/Implementation and PMO operations/output reporting delivery and a good understanding of operating and refining a PMO function.

They are looking for an individual who has a demonstrable track record in delivering solutions into large complex environments, and also working with a small team of Project Managers/PMO coordinators. Proficient in use of MS Project and able to guide junior members of the team as well as communicating findings more widely.

Other details:

  • Willing to travel when required to customer sites (minimal)

The role will consist of a variety of duties including but not limited to managing the full project lifecycle from cradle to grave, conducting comprehensive analysis, acting as the point of contact for all relevant stakeholders, being an advocate of a collaborative environment, identifying risks to successful delivery, and provide effective leadership to the projects team, both internal and external stakeholders. This role can be carried out on a fully remote basis, with office work at your request depending on locality.


The ideal candidate will have worked in PMO roles previously, and applicants from diverse industry backgrounds will be considered. You will be an expert in supporting stakeholders across the business and be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully run multiple cross-functional projects, including change management. This would suit someone who can work independently and as part of a team, with good communication across all levels, analytical in nature, and an eye for detail to maximise project delivery.

*Using a strategic approach to develop and implement project plans and schedules

The Person:
*Experience in PMO-style roles, any industry experience will be considered
*Track record of running and successfully delivering multiple cross-functional projects
*Can effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders
*Has worked on change management / transformation projects
