Our client, a leading corporate law firm in Stockport, currently requires a driven and motivated Post Completion Team Leader to join their busy office team. As the Post Completion Team Leader, you will work and manage a small team handling SDLT returns and Land Registry applications alongside other post completion tasks. Within the role you will also get involved in drafting leases and licenses.
Suitable applications will need a minimum of 12 months’ experience in post completions. Due to the nature of this role, our client is looking for somebody who has a positive, flexible attitude with previous experience / knowledge of conveyancing.
This Post Completion Team Leader role will be varied and fast paced. The main remit of the role includes:
• Managing post completion workflows
• Ensuring risk and compliance processes are followed
• Establishing team processes
• Scheduling documents
• Sending deeds to storage and to clients
• Carrying out searches
• Drafting land registry applications and SDLT forms
• Drafting companies house applications
• Answering queries from Fee Earners, clients and other parties
• Updating on transactions
• Investigating account issues to conclusion
• Requesting redemption statements, calculating interest and sending TT forms
