CeMap Mortgage Advisor,  Stockport Area, 27,000

My client has an exciting opportunity to join them as a Mortgage Advisor in the Stockport Area.

Working with the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the compliant delivery of mortgage advice across both regulated and non-regulated mortgage products.

To be successful in this role:

• You will have a strong knowledge of the mortgage market and a proven track record of delivering high standard, compliant, mortgage advice.
• You will be an excellent and articulate communicator that can develop and maintain relations with colleagues and new or existing members.
• You will be able to demonstrate effective decision making that adheres to regulatory requirements.
• You enjoy engaging with people and will work well in a team
• You will be focused and possess a strong desire for achieving agreed objectives and maintaining industry knowledge and competence.
• You will also need to be flexible and adaptable to change.

Alongside a full CeMap qualification, the ideal candidate will have:

• Experienced background of delivering mortgage advice across a range of regulated and non-regulated mortgage needs.
• In depth knowledge of mortgage product, process, industry, and regulatory standards.
• The ability to communicate and document clearly and compliantly through all stages of the mortgage journey.
• Effective time management and flexibility to support seasonal or market fluctuations of mortgage volumes.
• Possess excellent relationship management and people skills.
• Proficient IT and computer literacy skills.

Package includes:

• £27,000 per annum ( based on skills and experience)
• Pension scheme 
• 25 days holiday (plus statutory bank holidays), increasing to 27 after 2 years
