We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful business based in the High Peak area that’s offering a competitive salary, Mon-Friday working hours  and a pension scheme.

The Job

We’re looking for a competent time served Mechanical Fitter to join a prominent manufacturing business who will work in house within the production assembly facility. You will also be responsible for:

- Checking accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies.
- Operate machines to produce parts and tools
- Day to day liaison with operational staff
- Be able to swiftly and comprehensively fault-find and rectify problems on mechanical equipment

The Company

Our client is a large manufacture that is well known for their international products and technical excellence. They are a long standing business that are globally recognised due to their high precision equipment.

The Person
We require someone who has experience and knowledge of machine build and fitting.. You’ll also need to have:

- Effective problem solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ablity to work on your own iniative
- Practical approach to work
- An excellent understanding of planning and scheduling of work processes

The Rewards

The company is offering £10-12 per hour (40 hours a week) with a progressive career to develop your skills and knowledge. The working hours are Mon-Thursday 7:30 – 4:30 and you will finish early on Fridays!
