My client has a fantastic sales support role available in our Radio Hire division. This role is ideal for someone that wants variety in a busy role. Our ideal candidate will be organised, IT literate and love working with people

Reports to: Radio Hire and Internal Radio Sales Manager

ROLE PURPOSE:

To work as an integral part of the Radio Sales Team ensuring high levels of customer service, account management, support and accountability. Liaise with third parties to implement specific pro-active marketing campaigns to deliver additional business and revenue streams, including Radio Hire.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify new Hire and Sales opportunities and develop customer base.
  • Provide pro-active account management to all new and existing customers, develop additional opportunities by promoting products or services from the clients portfolio and log follow up calls on SalesLogix Ensure Hires are prepped and shipped and invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all equipment is logged and updated on Sage.
  • Deal promptly with any faulty equipment updating contracts and systems accordingly.
  • Check returned off hire equipment and confirm any anomalies with Customer
  • Ensure missing and broken equipment is billed or accounted for.
  • Ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained through prompt and efficient response to customer needs, progress chasing with other departments, with particular attention to customer complaints.
  • To ensure the correct procedures are followed and contact/forms completed when processing customer orders ie, SOP, using SalesLogix, Sage as well as checking customer’s credit status with credit control.
  • Participate in any product or service sales promotional campaigns as directed.
  • Follow correct procedure to set up new customers on PTL systems – i.e. customer to complete PTL account applications.
  • To negotiate any customer discount in accordance with current company policy. 
  • To prepare and send written quotations as necessary by either email, fax or post.
  • Ensure the necessary documentation and credit notes are prepared for returned stock items.
  • Achieve personal hire and sales targets. 
  • Embrace change and provide constructive ideas for campaigns, improving service, working methods and environment.
  • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Management of the Company

  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and service standards
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent Telephone Skills
  • Good communication and client relation skills
  • Good understanding of existing or potential customer’ business needs

QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Math/English Level C+ ICT Literate
  • Familiarisation of CRM Platforms
