Remote Business Development Executive £25k - £40k.

 

My client has the fastest growing publication portfolio in the UK . Operating as a niche boutique publishing house in the Luxury Lifestyle realm for the last 13 years, the brand has almost trebled in size since the start of 2021 and they are looking for the right candidate to join their print & publication team, as they continue to grow into the future.

 

Their brand is of the highest calibre in the Luxury Lifestyle market, targeting AB1 High Net Worth individuals and Households with quality, hyper local editorial and exceptional client partnerships with well known brands across multiple industries

They encourage an initiative based work environment, encouraging entrepreneurialism and ideas from across the team.

The ideal individual will need to be incredibly self motivated, and ambitious; the role is based from home / remote, but moulded in a way that one would run their own business - completely different to other publishing sales roles currently open to the market. The business operate with a trust in the team to hit targets and contribute with considered ways to develop the current product range

 

Of course, the standard responsibilities still exist, but combined with slightly more interesting ones:

 

  • Achieve Sales Targets
  • Operate within given yield perimeters
  • Take ownership of the specific region and title - coming up with new business development ideas, feature opportunities and supplement specials
  • Contributing to the layout of the publication - from a flow and sector perspective
  • Performing strong analysis of local competition and staying ahead of the curve with competing clients
  • Making use of their digital agency arm to convert lapsed print clients into new business digital clients
  • Drive new business growth through canvassing local brands, but keeping a finger on the pulse of potential national brand activity as well
  • Working with various teams across the business to ensure a smooth monthly process on the way to deadline and publication construction
  • Identify branding opportunities at agency level 
  • Dominance of the hyperlocal territory - both from a business and event perspective
  • Performing as an organised and presentable ambassador for the well-established brand
  • Attendance of shows, events, client invitationals and exhibitions where necessary
  • Staying on top of industry trends and developments
  • Working closely with team members from other regions to identify cross sale opportunities, attrition and business pollination
  • Working to editorial, artwork and press deadlines in a professional and timely manner
  • Keeping the wider team up to date on your own local area developments and publication progress, to both inspire and encourage work process and ideas
  • Act as a role model to the wider team, and the business as a whole
