Salary 35000 plus company car or car allowance and excellent bonuses

 

Role Overview

My client is an expanding creative manufacturer who is looking for a design-led Sales Manager to present them in a positive and exciting marketplace, through various sales opportunities. 

Initially shadowing the Creative Director sharing ideas and industry knowledge, you will be joining a positive can-do company who know their stuff and who offer a long term, successful sales career with achievable bonuses and excellent benefits.

This role will involve travel into mainland Europe and attendance at trade shows and exhibitions.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Bringing in new accounts
  • Briefing the design team
  • Liaising with the technical /Design support teams
  • Attend trade shows and international events, mainland Europe
  • Providing reports to the Sales Director
  • Completing sales forecasts for the Director
  • Attending Sales meetings with Directors
  • Takes responsibility for building new client relationships
  • Creates on Sales Plan and forecast
  • Identifies a pipeline of business
  • Target sectors – research different areas of business
  • Attending Networking events at the right level
  • Knowing competitors in the marketplace and what’s on offer/understand costing models
  • Sells imagination – share existing examples of work
  • Provides content for PR
  • Actively works with linked-In and other social media platforms

Profile, Skills and Experience

  • The ability to self-motivate
  • Good with figures/numbers as will be involved in the finance
  • Good on systems as need to keep NetSuite up to date
  • Experience of working to and exceeding targets
  • High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage/meet tight timescales
  • Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing
  • Strong customer service ethos
